SHAVONE. is a multihyphenate creator who represents a new generation of tech professionals. She announces Future Of Creatives, a community platform and consulting. SHAVONE is devoted to diversity and inclusion. Her new project is designed to provide space and support for creators who are underrepresented.
Future of Creatives is a multidisciplinary group that aims to highlight the talent of people of color and women in technology, entertainment, and fashion. “The platform also promotes equitable career development for young, rising creatives and POC within these industries.” I am a multihyphenate and have worked in male-dominated industries that often lack equity and space for Black women, diverse thinkers, and creatives of colour. SHAVONE She says, “Ultimately, from the community point of view I want Future Of Creatives help equip underrepresented artists with the tools, network, and resources to advance their creative endeavors. It will also be rooted in real, long-term, systemic shifts.”
The collective has partnered with PUMA to create a photo series that highlights women creators as part of its launch. Future Of Creatives will continue to release a variety of collaborations, experiential initiatives, and even a newsletter over the next few months.
