Tesla Bot is the future – Elon Musk announced at Tesla’s AI Day earlier in the evening that the company will release a prototype of its futuristic robot, Tesla Bot, next year. The robot is designed to take away “dangerous repetitive and boring tasks”. It will be 5’8 inches tall and weigh in at 125 pounds. The slideshow from Tesla shows that it will have a top speed at 5 MPH, a carrying weight of 45 pounds, and a deadlift of 150lbs. The Bot will also feature Tesla hardware inside. It will have other elements such as a screen to display “useful information”, 40 electromechanical actuators, and human-level hands. To equip the robot with vision, autopilot cameras will be installed in the robot’s head at the front, back, and sides. Keep checking back for more details.
