Beyonce and Jay-Z were appointed brand ambassadors by Tiffany & Co. earlier this month. The jewelry company’s latest campaign features the Carters. Jay-Z and Beyonce are the perfect example of modern love stories. Tiffany & Co.’s Executive Vice- President of Product and Communications Alexandre Arnault said in a statement that Tiffany has been a brand that stands for love, strength, and self-expression. “We are proud to have the Carters in our Tiffany family.”
The campaign, “ABOUT LOVE”, explores vulnerability and connection. Queen B is pictured in front Jean-Michel Basquiat’s Never-before-seen Equals Pi (1982), painting. She wears the 128-carat Tiffany Diamond. Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Mary Whitehouse are the fourth and first Black women to wear the rare gemstone. The campaign will also see the jeweler pledge $2 million USD to scholarship and internship programs at historically black colleges and universities. “ABOUT LOVE” will be available worldwide in print September 2nd, while a companion film directed by Emmanuel Adjei will launch on Tiffany’s website September 15.
