The fourth studio album by Halsey, If I Can’t Have Love…I Want Power!, was released today. It features 13 tracks and a film that’s an hour long, directed by Colin Tiley and written by Atticus Ross. The album is entirely Halsey’s work and has no collaborations. According to Pitchfork, the artist created the album after falling in love and trying to navigate her pregnancy. The writing oscillates between stability, self-sabotage and stability. Additional IMAX screenings will be held at selected cinemas on August 28 for those who have not yet seen If I Can’t Have Love I Want Power.
