Although the Kering-owned brand is located in London, it previously displayed its new collections at Paris Fashion Week. Alexander McQueen, however, has decided to reschedule its fashion week schedule since the pandemic.

It showcased how it made couture pieces at home for spring/summer 2021.

The brand also produced a fashion film and held in-store appointments at the Old Bond Street flagship for autumn/winter 2021.

The spring/summer 2022 show takes place on October 12, one day before opening London’s Frieze Art Fair. This luxury label sponsored the event previously.

In recent years, the contemporary art fair in London’s Regent’s Park attracted luxury brands and retailers. Matchesfashion opened a pop up store in 2019 and Moncler and Cos have supported creative talent.

McQueen isn’t the only Kering-owned brand that has shown outside of major fashion weeks. Gucci will be heading to Los Angeles in November. Bottega Veneta also held secret showcases at London’s Spring/Summer 2021 and Berlin’s Autumn/Winter 2021.
