Henrietta Rixo and Orlagh Mcloskey, co-founders of Rixo, took fashion fans on a mini-vacation during London Fashion Week. They presented a tropical presentation at The Barbican Conservatory.

The ‘Bon Voyage” collection celebrates holidays with bright, cheerful prints on a variety of summer cottons. It also includes a selection of linens in summer colors. They are finished with crochet, colourful Ric-rac, and lace.

Rixo is a master host and the presentation flowed through the tropical foliage. Models of all ages showed off the pieces while dancing to live music and shaking maracas. Even a surprise pina colada and rum shack were on hand.

The brand also celebrated its first ever fully extended size range. This collection covers UK sizes 6-20.

Henrietta Rix stated in a statement that “We want all women to feel the best version of themselves in Rixo.” We are thrilled to be able launch a larger range of sizes to help women feel confident and special in Rixo. Next summer, we’re excited!”

New features include button-down halter-neck dresses with button-down collars and puff sleeves.

This collection’s star was the brightly colored embroideries and hand-painted prints. They capture all things holiday and were inspired by vintage postcards, tourist souvenirs and holiday deckchairs. You might also find surprise tropical fruits and dancer motif if you pay attention.

Orlagh McCloskey commented on the prints and said: “The prints have an authentic spirit of holiday happiness. I created little dancers with maracas, palm trees with coconuts, and Mexican Sombrero hats. It will bring joy to the women who wear it next summer.

The Rixo spring/summer 2022 collection will be available in March 2022.
