American fashion brand Michael Kors announced its first ever partnership with the 007 film franchise. It also released its 25th James Bond film, “No Time To Die.” A limited-edition capsule collection will be launched to celebrate the film’s release.
The MKC x007 capsule collection includes three pieces. Naomie Harris can be seen wearing the Moneypenny bag in “No Time To Die”.
Made in Italy, the Bond Bancroft was made exclusively for James Bond. The interior lining has a MKC x007 polished plaque to emphasize the special collaboration.
The capsule collection also includes the Bond Carryall in smooth calf skin and the Bond Duffel in luggage-hued canvas. These travel essentials are completed by an exclusive MKCx007 luggage tag.
Designer Michael Kors released a statement, “Jet Set Glamour, Simplicity, Speed, Energy – These are all words that come up when you think of the world of James Bond. They are also the heart of our brand DNA. This collaboration was a perfect marriage of fashion and film.”
Michael Kors has created a short film starring Harris that transports viewers into the world of 007 to celebrate the capsule’s launch. The film shows a thrilling delivery ride through Milan with a top-secret message, and mysterious package that Moneypenny must decode in order to discover what it contains.
From late September, the three-piece capsule will also be available for purchase in select Michael Kors shops around the globe, as well as on MichaelKors.com.
