Reiss, a premium retailer, will unveil its first children’swear collection on 20 October. For autumn/winter 2021, the debut Reiss Children collection is available for boys and girls aged 4-9 years old. For spring/summer 2022, the size range will be extended to include girls and boys aged 4-9 years old.

Reiss’s in-house design team created 140 styles for the launch, with the same quality and design approach as the men’s and women’s ranges.

Reiss says that the line was “tailored to modern children”, as children have their own style. Remarkable house signatures are also included in the line, such as the tailored jacket, suede jacket and refined knitwear.

The launch collection also includes jersey, woven tops and shirts, as well as tailoring, denim and leather outerwear, leather, shearling, and accessories.

Reiss womenswear director Una Joyce said that this is the first time Reiss has created a collection for children. She added: “We listened to our customers to create this collection.”

The children’swear collection includes T-shirts, stretch jeans, puffer jackets, and puffer jackets. There are also earthy and neutral-toned leisurewear, tailored jackets and chunky knits.

T-shirts start at 12 Pounds, while dresses start at 50 Pounds and coats begin at 80 Pounds. A shearling aviator jacket is 358 pounds, making it the most expensive item.

Alex Field, Reiss’ menswear director, said: “We discovered that children, just like grown-ups want a modern, simple wardrobe. Each piece was designed to be distinctively Reiss.” will be the exclusive online home of the Reiss Children collection for autumn/winter 2021. This includes selected partners such as Next and John Lewis. Selfridges will sell the collection online as well as in its Manchester and Birmingham locations in the UK. Nordstrom, an American retailer, will also offer the collection online and at its New York City location starting October 20.

Chidrenswear is the latest category expansion for Reiss, in September it launched its .first petite womenswear collection featuring 31 styles for autumn/winter 2021, and a golf collection inspired by Tiger Woods’ course style in May.
