Fabletics, a fitness and activewear retailer, has unveiled Velour, its first lifestyle line, in a campaign featuring Vanessa Hudgens.
The 32 mix-and match line is inspired by retro 1970’s fashion and comes in five colors. Soft materials are used in combination with “unexpected silhouettes” to reinvent loungewear.
Hudgens stated in a press release that the Velour collection was so amazing that it changed my whole vibe. You can see the star in the multimedia campaign of the label, wearing a wide range of the snug pieces. The pieces are fun, easy to wear, and fun to style. Every look is bold, colourful and exciting, but most importantly, it’s comfortable.
She said that she was thrilled when Fabletics approached her about being their face and that they were able to show the pieces in person. You’ll never wear another fabric after you experience Velour fabric.
The collection’s debut collection includes a variety of popular styles as well as new silhouettes. It includes oneies, bodysuits, biker shorts, and bodysuits, as well high-waist bottoms or wide-leg jumpsuits. With the use of lightweight fabrics made in velvet-like materials, the brand aims to emphasize “lifestyle and versatility”.
Fabletics’ chief merchandise officer and design officer Felix del Toro stated: “Following Fabletics Lounge’s success, we continue to include lifestyle pieces in our current offerings. We’re confident that customers will love Velour’s look and feel.”
Velour by Fabletics now available on the label’s website. It caters to women between 18 and 45.
