Fila, a sportswear brand, has partnered up with Toei Animation, an anime studio, and Funimation, its US agent, to launch a limited-edition line of Dragon Ball Superx Fila footwear.
These seven sneaker designs, inspired by characters, were unveiled at New York Comic Con October. They will be available in both men’s and children’s sizes. Custom colourways celebrating iconic characters from anime will also be available.
The line includes four Fila Renno designs and four classic Fila silhouettes.
The anime fans can choose from a variety of characters, such as Vegeta, Vegeta and Golden Frieza.
The Renno, one of the main characters in the film, is transformed by a colourway that was inspired by Goku’s orange jumpsuit and his blue accessories. The bright yellow shoes’ laces highlight his glowing blonde hair.
Every style comes with a Dragon Ball Super logo on the heel, tongue and socks. Styles are available in sizes 100-75 dollars for men and 90-65 dollars for children.
The collection is only available in the USA and Canada and will be sold exclusively by Foot Locker Kids Foot Locker Champ Sports and Footaction starting December 21.
