While beauty lovers wait to grab the limited-edition lipstick and eyeshadow, Dior Makeup is now launching an updated Rouge Dior Lip Balm. The original formula was 95 percent natural-origin ingredients. Peter Philips, the brand’s Creative Director and Image Director, has added three textures and 11 colors to the product. To provide light hydration, the balms contain oils and waxes as well as shea butter. The balms also contain pomegranate extract for plumping effects. For each shade, red hibiscus extract is used. The product also contains red peony extract. There are a variety of shades available, from soft pinks and milk tea-inspired beige to the universally translucent “000 Diornatural.” The 11 new Rouge Dior Lip Balms will be available in Dior Makeup shops and online starting September 1st at $330 HKD (approximately $42 US).
