Aleali May’s collaboration with Jordan Brand, “Fortune”, was first revealed last week. The Air Jordan 14 is the highlight of the collection. It follows previous sneakers by the stylist, the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT or Air Jordan 6.
The AJ14 features details that are inspired by May’s Black roots and her Filipino heritage, including the gold and jade jewelry she received from her grandmothers when she was a child. The suede upper in beige is contrasted by the metallic gold and marbel green accents on both the midsoles. The overall look is balanced by the jet black Jumpman logo, tongue and collar, as well as the footbed. The tongue features jade-inspired Jordan branding and has engraved Jordan branding. The design includes May’s signature on May’s insole. Aleali May’s AJ14 ‘Fortune’ will be available on August 19 via Nike SNKRS.
