The RealReal has released its annual resale report for the year. It reveals that Gucci is the most popular luxury brand, and its bold accessories have seen the greatest sales growth. Following are Chanel, Prada, Dior, Louis Vuitton and Chanel.

High-end sneakers have seen a 383 percent increase in sales, with women and millennials being the most popular buyers. Nike has the highest resale values among all brands, thanks to its coveted collaborations and partnerships with Kanye West.

Other brands such as Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme and Issey Mikae have seen high demand for Japanese streetwear internationally. Streetwear buyers are more inclined to buy preppy, outdoor styles than hyped collaborations. Sean Conway, a sneaker and streetwear expert, shared that skate and streetwear pioneers are now blending outdoor and sports gear into their street style.

Brands such as Casablanca have experienced a 358 per cent increase in sales, while Nike’s Off White(tm), collaborations and labels like Supreme and Vetements have decreased in demand over time. The changing COVID-19 restrictions are affecting shoppers’ shopping habits. With the greatest growth among Gen-Z, millennials and Gen-Z, savvy shoppers are grabbing luxury investments. Our data shows that Gen-Z is the most aware age group of all,” Rati Sahi, president at RealReal, said.
