Megan Thee Stallion, BTS and their hit song “Butter” have been remixed by the K-pop group. The surprise collaboration was almost not allowed to be released on the record label 1501 Certified Entertainment by the “Savage”, rapper. Variety has obtained legal documents that show that Stallion filed a petition against the CEO of 1501, Carl Crawford, on August 24. She claimed they stopped her from dropping the remix. The documents stated that “[Megan Pete] is seeking] urgent relief from the Court prior to this Friday, August 27th 2021 to allow her new music be released this week, as originally scheduled.” “If Pete doesn’t release a track on Friday, in which she is featured artist in a remix by BTS of the song called “Butter”, her music career will suffer irreparable harm, as well as a devastating effect on her relationships with her fans, and other recording artists in this industry,” the documents stated. Thankfully, a Texas judge has granted Stallion permission to release the remix of “Butter” by BTS. Keep checking back as we await the official release of the track by the artists. It is scheduled to be released on August 27.
