Bally, a Swiss luxury brand, has dedicated its Spring/Summer 2022 collection of the “Art of Utility,” line to the future after the pandemic. This means that we are focusing on sustainability and a more elegant look. “Art of Utility”, a collection of GOTS-certified natural dyes, has used repurposed fabrics and recycled cotton over the past two seasons.

“Bally’s spring/summer 2022 collection, ‘Art of Utility,’ reimagines sportswear with freedom of motion, elegant ease, and natural utility for a post-pandemic future where the virtuous art of dressing down and up are synonymous with comfort, versatility, and comfort,” the brand said about the collection.

Comfort, lightness, and versatility are the key focus of this collection. This is evident in its voluminous proportions and layered styling, as well as high-quality knitted or leather materials. The refined techniques and intricate details of traditional craftsmanship are reflected in leather-woven patterns, handcrafted rivets, and stitching.

The shoe collection’s highlights include a cut-out lace up boot with a clog-like sole and unisex sneaker models featuring the classic Bally wings. Bally explains that the new B monogram and alpine floral motifs are reminiscent Bally’s pillars, art, nature, and design.

All sneaker linings have been GRS-certified. They are made of recycled plastic bottles. Leather is sourced from leather working groups certified tanneries.

GRS-certified nylon is also available in B-Monogram jacquard bags, pouches, and bum bags. It is made from 100 percent postconsumer recycled plastics and PET bottles such as the Atlas and Crew.

The Mythos line is made up of recycled leather and metals. As with the B-Monogram travel bags, nylon Cliff bags with denim effect or TPU are also available. Leather-woven Cabana bags and Vestige bags with a modern check effect and eco-friendly linings are also featured.
