Instagram’s anti-bullying efforts are being furthered by the introduction of Limits, a feature that helps protect users from online abuse. Instagram has a responsibility for making sure that everyone is safe on its platform. The social media platform stated in a blog that it does not allow bullying or hate speech on Instagram. It also said it will remove such content as soon as it is found. The social media platform explained that the feature was created because creators and public figures often experience sudden spikes in comments and DM requests from unknown people. The latest example was the racist abuse that followed the Euro 2020 men’s final. The social media app now warns users if they post something potentially offensive. You can turn Limits on in the Privacy section of your Instagram settings page.
