AspenX, a premium retailer, has announced a partnership with luxury label Prada. The limited-edition collection includes ski performance-wear that is inspired by Aspen’s “creative culture”.

This experiential brand was launched recently as part of Aspen Skiing Company. It was created by Prada and Paula Crown, an artist. This resulted in a unique selection of menswear and womenswear that optimizes performance and comfort.

Crown’s signature graphic elements, which include black, white, and red, are incorporated into the collection to create a statement-making ensemble for the 2021/2022 season.

The capsule is described as an eco-sustainable capsule. It uses sustainable textile technologies to promote active living. Two outerwear jackets are included in the line, with each style featuring insulation and waterproof features. Extreme-Tex technology from Prada is also used. A range of ready-to-wear separates, including a sweatshirt made from recycled double jersey fabric, will be available to match the jackets.

Crown released, “More than just a fashion collection,” adding that the collaboration was a physical representation the unique spirit of Aspen, just before the 75th anniversary of the destination. The capsule is designed for exploration without inhibitions and complements AspenX’s vision of new possibilities. “I am thrilled to collaborate with Prada on such an important occasion.”

AspenX x Prada will be sold as an extension to the Linea Rossa line of the Italian house. It is currently available on AspenX’s website. The retailer will also stock it at its soon-to-open Aspen Gondola Plaza store.
