NOAH’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection is here. For cooler months, the lineup includes cozy pieces like beanies, wool jackets, corduroy jackets, and knit sweaters. “I was born in 1970 and I have a specific memory of the notion that one had to pick a musical genre to identify with. This didn’t sit well with me. I clearly recall a DJ losing his job when a radio station changed music formats and started burning disco records at a stadium,” Brendon Babenzien, NOAH’s founder and creative director, said in a press release. He explains that FW21 was inspired by his realization of “a tremendous overlap culturally with creators across all types.
The result is a wide range of garments that span workwear, sportswear, and tailoring. Suits are paired with sneakers and casual trousers with wool blazers. The FW21 collection includes a brown corduroy zip up hoodie featuring NOAH’s logo embroidered at the chest and simple text graphics such as “Long Live Rock’n Roll” on a T-shirt. On August 21, NOAH Noodle Shop Osaka will release a wider range of products. Dover Street Market LA, London and Osaka will also have larger releases on August 26.
