Moose Knuckles, a luxury Canadian outerwear brand, has announced a collaboration with Telfar Clemens, a New York-based designer. The label Telfar includes outerwear, apparel and bags.

The Moose Knuckles x Telfar capsule collection, which includes 17 pieces, is designed to “keep your moving in warmth and style.” It is the continuation of Telfar’s revival of pieces that are synonymous with his New York City roots and key Moose Knuckles silhouettes.

This collaboration marks Telfar’s first venture into outerwear. It features a classic bomber and matching pair of fox-trimmed boot cut ski pants.

The puff hoodie is a hybrid of nylon puff peacoat with double-breasted nylon-wool sleeve and puff hoodie, which has a classic Telfar monogram incorporated into nylon puff bands. You can choose from a waist-length or unisex puff hoodie, as well as matching puff sweatpants. They are spliced at your knees with rings made of boot-cut nylon puff.

Telfar’s most sought-after bags are included in the collection, along with a limited edition puff-Telfar Shopper. The classic medium shopper features an original embossed TC logo in puff-down nylon. The Moose Knuckles x Telfar large shopper joins this with a puzzle-piece monogram in trapunto polyester puff.

Dominique Lagleva is vice president of global marketing for Moose Knuckles. He stated in a statement that “Working alongside one of the most forward-thinking designer in the industry today was a dream come to life. Our shared vision of creating something unique, effortless, and responsible in its construction enabled us to work together with incredible synergy. By combining the iconic designs of Telfar and Moose Knuckles, we created something new and timeless that both our communities will love.”

Clemens added, “This is specifically designed for everyone. It doesn’t happen if I don’t see it on the streets every day.”

To emphasize both brands’ commitment to “responsible fashion vs. fast-fashion, collaboration fatigue,” Moose Knuckles is also going to engineer and manufacture the debut Telfar inline outerwear collection. It will be available through the designer’s distribution channels.

Moose Knuckles x Telfar launches on November 1 on Mooseknucklescanada.com and Telfar.net, with prices ranging from 195 to 4,300 US dollars. Exclusive collection pieces will also be available at Galeries Lafayette and Browns, Antonioli as well as Saks Fifth Avenue, Holt Renfrew and Ssense.
